Hallucinations of the Prinsediran (IV): [I am] Falsely Accused

Feeling sad and angry about what Moi heard about Moi, Moi said to the ever present Me;

I have been falsely accused over and over again, nobody understands what I do, or why I do what I do. They just choose to misunderstand me all the time.

They say I cry easily, but sincerely speaking, I DON’T cry easily. I only happen to shed tears as a result of a strongly felt emotion, you know, it’s not as if I do that too often, just frequently, at very short intervals too. 😦

You can imagine being accused of being in love with someone, *spits out* I don’t love anybody for God’s sake! I just feel a profoundly tender, passionate affection for someone. A feeling of warm personal attachment and deep affection! That’s not love, is it??

Last night a fellow said I know how to sing. I totally don’t know how to sing, I’ve never sang in my whole life. Though I do make music with my voice, you know, use my voice to make words or sounds in a musical way.

Then a critic said I do hate some people; that got me thinking again. Some people also claim I hate them; that is so outrageous. I don’t hate anybody, I just dislike them intensely. Surely there’s nothing wrong with that.

Sometimes they also say I eat too much, and they are totally wrong again. I’m always fasting, just that I take in edible substances thru my mouth and swallow them every hour, every day, all year round, except when I’m asleep.

I don’t hate light as some people will want to believe. My eyes just have a very low tolerance for light, and I avoid it by every means possible.

I don’t talk too much! Do I even talk at all? I simply express myself by speaking readily, regularly, and at length too.

They also get this part wrong about me; I am so so not kindhearted! I am just friendly and sympathetic and sometimes generous by nature.

I am totally not a Christian as most people will accuse me of being one. I’m just a believer in Jesus Christ and I believe He is my Lord and Saviour.

I don’t write, unlike what some people keep saying. I just put down alphabets and notes and numbers on paper using a pen. Most times I just type them into my phone or laptop.

Don’t get this twisted, I don’t laugh! Why should I laugh? There’s no reason to laugh, absolutely none. I only make sounds from my throat while breathing out as a way of expressing amusement.

Likewise smiling… they also claim I smile, but I don’t really smile. I only raise the corners of my mouth cheerfully to express my happiness.

And then they’ll say I sleep too much, which in the right sense I don’t really sleep at all. Most times during the day and night my body just goes into a state of partial or full unconsciousness, I will be totally inactive and my eyes will be shut, snoring some of the time.

And when I was younger, I was cautioned about fighting other kids which I never did. I never fought anybody. Those days we only engaged in battles and single combat in an attempt to defend myself against another kid or to defeat, subdue or destroy another kid who was trying to defend himself against me.

All these while, I was totally innocent! 😦

Namesmith: Luminian/Luxian

I love Spanish names, French names, Italian, Greek, and of course Wuzyburian- the names I put together as a Namesmith *wink* So, when you find it hard to pick a name for your child, you can always tell me the child’s story and I’ll coin a Wuzyburian name for you 🙂

A name means virtually whatever you label it to mean. Some names however have only one meaning, some sound like another name, and some names basically inspire you.

The sixth Wuzyburian name I’m presenting here is LUMINIAN [LUXIAN]. Suitable for a Prince (or a Lady) who is born to shine (the social status of some families makes this obvious, I think).

Luminian [Luxian]: Coined from “Lumini”/”Lux” (of Latin origin meaning “Light”) (Lux Mundi: You are the light of the world Matt 5:14/ NON SINE LUMINE – “Not without light”) and “-an” (plainly an English suffix meaning “Relating to, native of). I’d say this means “Originating from the Light”; “born of the Light”; or better still “Light of the world”.. You can help me define it better!

Short form: Mini, Lumi.
Nick form: Mimi; Loomy-Meeny; “Lumidee”- for a musician wannabe.
Happy mood: Loo-Loo; Mimi;
Angry mood: LUMIN!!

Native Name Suggestion (In French):
Short form: Merci; DM
Nick form: Dimer
Happy mood: Merci
Angry mood: MERCI 😀
The name means “Thank God”.

Name Suggestions:
* Female name: LENORA: This name is a variant of Eleanor (Greek), Lenore (Greek) and Leonora (Greek); the meaning is “sun ray, shining light; compassion; light”
* Male name: of LUCIAN: This name is of Latin origin, the meaning is “light”

Hallucinations of the Prinsediran (III): SOME PEOPLE [think]

And yet again Moi said to Me;

Some people think you have the time to hate them.

Some people think you have the heart to hurt them.

Some people think you have the zeal to fight them.

Some people think you have the strength to “revenge.”

Some people think you have the acumen to plan evil.

Some people overrate themselves and want to believe they have the power to offend you.

Some people lack the basic definition of the word “Problem” and hence they tend to believe they can cause you “problems.”

Some people hype a bad event and classify it as unforgivable.

Some people just wish to see you as an enemy where they are meant to have a friend.

Some people have friends who only push them to fight a friend who would have pushed them to go for peace.

Some people think love is only meant for friends and not for an enemy-wannabe.

Some people, Moi said, will surely, obviously, most definitely sit at home and think this write up is for them…

Those people? *smh* Those people have time they need to lend me to spend on more useful and progressive issues.

I just love some people, and I mean it.

Namesmith: Quincy-Africa

I love Spanish names, French names, Italian, Greek, and of course Wuzyburian- the names I put together as a Namesmith *wink* So, when you find it hard to pick a name for your child, you can always tell me the child’s story and I’ll coin a Wuzyburian name for you 🙂

A name means virtually whatever you label it to mean. Some names however have only one meaning, and some names basically inspire you.

The fifth Wuzyburian name I’m presenting here is QUINCY-AFRICA. Suitable for a fifth son [or rarely a daughter]. The name surely has to be given to an African, especially when he is special to the world even before the naming ceremony. Someone should call Angelina Jolie on phone!!

Quincy-Africa: Coined from “Quincy” (old French meaning “estate of the fifth son”) and “Africa” (just the continent of Africa)… I’d say this means “the African estate [roots] of the fifth son” (if adopted), or “the fifth son of the [African] soil.” You can help me define it better!
Short form: Quinfrey
Nick form: Quince
Happy mood: Quincy
Angry mood: QUINCY! *smh*

Native Name Suggestion (In Spanish):
AGRADABLE [De Buen Corazón]
Short form: A.G
Nick form: Dabby, Graddy
Happy mood: GeeDee-DeeBee.
Angry mood: Agradable
:-D. The name means “Kind-hearted”, “nice”.

Name Suggestions:
* Female name: NICOLE [Colette, Nikoleta, Nikolina, Nikki]. I’ve noticed the female variations of some male names sound cooler than their male counterparts… Nicole/Nicholas. Victoria/Victor. Gabriella/Gabriel. Ok Michael sounds better than Michelle. Nicole is of Greek origin, derived from Nicholas “victory of the people”, [Nikolaos: “Victory” (nikē) and “People” (laos)]
* Male name: RICHMOND

Script: [VALEREX]: Land Of The Same King

I feel not only the logline and synopsis are important when trying to market a script. If every character in the story has a very unique role to play, I believe tabling out the “characters history” adds something nice and vital to the whole “pitching” thing. Characters History will just tell the reader some of the key things every character will do and their relationship with other characters.

This is a script I started writing on 15th January, 2013, the major thing I worked on was identifying the important characters in the movie idea. The title is “The Same King”, of which if it gets really interesting then I could name it further, “Valerex: The Land of the Same King”. I particularly don’t know how to classify a story into just one genre, so “The Same King” is basically Fantasy, Action/Adventure, a little Epic, a little Underworld, and Film Noir… (whatever that means 😀 lol… It is not really “Film Noir” though..).

Since the whole story is still under construction, I’ll now try playing around with the “characters history” I talked about, or maybe “Charactography” (trying to fit “biography” into the picture).

It is hard to pen down a logline before writing the script, but maybe this one will do for the “Valerex” script: “Soldiers who killed their king for being a dreaded werewolf bite more than they can chew after realising the king’s entire lineage have been werewolves from time immemorial.”

1. King Ottovera of Valerex: King of Valerex, husband and father. Killed by his army after he was found guilty of being the werewolf they’ve been hunting.

2. Queen Euvera of Valerex: Wife of King Ottovera. A mother of two, and Queen of Valerex. Her sudden death made Ottovera stroll out carelessly without covering his tracks as the werewolf.

3. Lady Callivera of Valerex: Daughter of Ottovera, later Queen-Mother. She banished her son Maxwell to Tygrix, the land of no moon, so she could hold off a revolution alone, sacrificing herself in the process.

4. Prince Rexuel (Later King Rexuel of Valerex), son of Ottovera and brother of Lady Callivera. He died for the same reasons as did his father and forefathers before him.

5. Prince Maxwell of Crox (Later King Maxwell of Valerex and King of Tygrix); protected by his mother Lady Callivera, Maxwell survived an attack from his army after he was accused of being the werewolf terrorising the land. He went to Tygrix where he was aided by the lady Jasmine to become King, and plotted a return to Valerex with the rapidly evolving “wolfmen” of Tygrix.

6. Lord Calvin of Crox: Maxwell’s father and husband of Lady Callivera. He was killed while trying to protect King Ottovera from his own army.

7. General Lynx Rela (Later Sir Lynx Rela); Takes pride in hunting werewolves. He was knighted by Rexuel for killing his own father, King Ottovera. Lynx later led the attack that brought about the death of Rexuel. He also attempted to execute Prince Maxwell but met his end at the hands of Lady Callivera.

8. Jadson Rela: General Lynx’s son and Maxwell’s best friend. He was caught in between the line during an attempt by his father to arrest Maxwell. He was shot several times by his father’s army after his motive was misjudged.

9. Jasmine Rela: (Later Queen Jasmine of Tygrix and Valerex): General Lynx’s daughter, admired by Prince Maxwell. She found Maxwell lying helpless at the River Youlv on his way to Tygrix after he was sent away by his mother Callivera. With the aid of a Witch of Sewid, Jasmine brought Maxwell to Tygrix where she used the charms the sewidian gave her to lure and secretly kill the Crown Prince Iris of Tygrix. She then persuaded the king to crown Maxwell King of Tygrix, promising to return the people of Tygrix to their rightful place in Valerex. After Jasmine had a son of her own, she plotted to get rid of all the Vera clan and Tygrixian werewolves, crowning her son as Infant King of Valerex, hoping he won’t turn out to be the same king of old.

*Phew* I think this will be enough for now, save the other characters for later. When the script is done I’ll certainly post some of the scenes in the Movie Lyrics category of this blog. 🙂

Namesmith: Veragogue

I love Spanish names, French names, Italian, Greek, and of course Wuzyburian- the names I put together as a Namesmith *wink* So, when you find it hard to pick a name for your child, you can always tell me the child’s story and I’ll coin a Wuzyburian name for you 🙂

A name means virtually whatever you label it to mean. Some names however have only one meaning.

The fourth Wuzyburian name I’m presenting here is VERAGOGUE. Suitable for a lady. I’ll present other variations of “Vera” in the coming weeks (the likes of Ottovera, Euvera, Theovera/Diosovera, Veraphany, Callivera, Magnivera, Acrovera, etc).

Veragogue: Coined from “Vera” (meaning “Truth”) and “Gogue” (In Greek, meaning “Leading”/”to lead”)… I’d say this means leading by the truth, leading to the truth, leader of the truth, or “true leader”. You can help me define it better!
Short form: Vera
Nick form: Vee
Happy mood: V.V.
Angry mood: VERA!

Native Name Suggestion (In Nigerian Igbo Language):
Short form: Diobi; Ayo.
Nick form: Didi
Happy mood: Obim; Dee.
Angry mood: IDIOBI!! (Try not to yell as “IDIOT”)
Hmm…now I’m thinking if any of my kids will appreciate this name :-D. The name means “Meek [at heart]” (Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth: Matt.5:5).

Name Suggestions:
* Female name: HONORA: In an attempt to keep the word “Honey” in circulation in my home, someone has got to bear this name Honora (Its spanish, for Honour)
* Male name: RICHARD. Dunno…it simply sounds nice.

The Importance of Politics

I want to believe I’m not the only one that always see ‘troubled’ people… they are all around us. You have to take away selfishness to realise that you are quite blessed, and in return you must strive to be a blessing to others.

Looking out thru the window while travelling from one state to another in Nigeria, you’ll realise the imbalance in the state of living among Nigerians. Some states have taken the initiative to provide some basic rights for the locals, even though they end up tagging them as “social amenities/pleasantries” or “government achievement” and “bonuses”, many other states however have individuals who are greatly interested in enriching themselves alone, and maybe for the good bad leaders, their families and kinsmen will benefit too.
Sometimes you’ll see a young family of five being transported to school on one motorbike. It happens too fast, being just a passerby, you can’t get their names or address; now, how can you help if you have the means of helping? You could still see a young lady crying over the phone in a call centre, how can you tell what is wrong? Was she bullied? Is she in serious trouble? Does she need financial help- school fees? House rent? A critically sick parent? Feeding money? Neighbour trouble?
Then the sad site of little children chasing after the bus just to sell items for little money… Who will provide the platform for these families to be comfortable? Who will end the tale of “the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.”

A lot of things contribute to poverty in a nation, but the main foundation is founded upon “high cost of living” (or invariably a very low income). A lot of things can cause high cost of living/low income- you know, the farmer could blame the high cost of transportation for the high cost of his food. The transport sector will very well blame the cost of petrol and bad roads. Even the roads themselves will give you a good reason why they are bad, if they could speak up. A lot of “genuine” reasons for the high cost of everything. We must however not fail to realise and acknowledge that the true reason for this high cost of living/low income is “corruption and greed” in the world.
A lot of people want to be KING, yes, I too want to be King, but everyone must not keep pushing for power just for the wealth and fame. Someone has got to repair the damages before it consumes us all.

That family of five riding on a motorbike is NOT the only family like that across the nation and believe me, there are even worse cases of discomfort and suffering. And these are headaches and heartaches caused by the insensitivity of those God has given authority and responsibility (some people will like to doubt that all authority on Heaven and earth does belong to God and He gives authority on whom he chooses- Ps. 115:16, Matt 28:18, Rom 13:1; not forgetting the ones He admits He doesn’t approve of- Hos. 8:4).
If you take a head count of people with problems that can be avoided or solved by people (Medical, educational, financial, nutritional, marital, etc), you’ll see they number out in millions. It is NOT enough to “pray” for them and “wish” them well. It is NOT enough to show concern just for your family and a selected few in your extended family. It is not enough to weep for the poor, tear your garments and wear sack cloths. If your faith is not strong enough to move mountains and make a rainfall of currencies (Pounds and Dollars to be precise), please dear, stop wasting your time “hoping for the best” and feeling like you are doing the world any good. There are many ways to affect the lives of millions of people and one big way is thru POLITICS.

There is still hope for the world. Yes, you’ve been made to see everything happening as a “sign” of end time. But then, should we sit and die hopelessly? Watching the nations fight? Watching hunger devour the land? Many of us are no better than the Mayans, at least they were brave enough to pick a date for the end of the world. I am not a prophet but I’ll let you know this one thing, the world is not “coming to an end” even in more than a hundred years time. There could be end of a world power, but certainly not the end of the world. You have to be up on your feet and take care of the earth God has given you. Work hard for peace and prosperity, feed and educate the nation, save them from the temptation of crime and war. Think of your kids, the ones yet to come, their friends and families, your grand children, your cousins and their own future families, your community, your nation, what are you doing to make the world a better place? If the world decides today to cut down the cost of living everywhere, will any alien from Mars sue humanity? Greed has indeed crippled goodwill and charity.
When you feel you want to be a politician, don’t forget that all these are the importance of politics, not in accumulating wealth for your own self.

Delusions of Prinsdeur: February 2013

That month of Hipnocember is not coming to life any time soon, but February has got a lot of similarities with it. In february I totally rested from all the “new year’s effort” and I’m sure a majority of you reading this also took a break from the stressful and daring New year resolutions; 28days of rest.
Halfway thru february, I was reminded of that aspect of life called “love”. Oh well… most times its hard to know who you really love, and its hard to even tell them you love them, hence we end up distracting ourselves with “roadside relationships”. Too bad for those that take you as their one true “love”.

Nothing much happened in February, I’m still in the land that has the APRF (Anti-Prinsdeur Rhesus Factor), made little contact with the “outside world”. I finally got my friends “Stanley G.N.” and “June A.U.” to see the crazy script I wrote for them in 2007- “Stop Those Nuns”. I’ve prepared the script for adoption, I’ll still want it to be a Nollywood movie, and I’ll try to convince June to try out acting when all things are in place. That includes my own movie studio no doubt 🙂 (You can read some of the scenes from “Stop Those Nuns” in my movie lyrics category: http://t.co/OGoFb9r7).
I’ve also added another anthem to my Musicflakes music book- “Thou are the Christ (Matt. 16:13-16)”; that one is coming along gradually. Thinking of K.K Jemima has made me work really hard on a lot of things. And with things going smoothly, I’ve become more convinced that she will soon come to life…wherever she is at the moment. Men do have the ability to create personalities. You too should take a moment to think of whose life you can affect positively.

My days in this land are numbered now. In a few hours we’ll be in March 2013, my month of liberation from the bondage of “education”- a place you keep investing and wasting time and you’ve got to keep wondering when you’ll come alive to be useful to the world that will “soon end” 🙂
There is no time. Your manifestation is being waited upon. You must dream, you must visualise, you must hurry.
*Yawns* Its good to finally wake up. Time to march on in the month of March.

See y’all by the end of March, and Happy Valentine’s to you (if you missed my greeting card). 😀

Prince Amen-Diosdesea Ewuzie Odira C.C: Prince of Wuzybury
P/S: I am not deluded.

Namesmith: Dexterotto

I love Spanish names, French names, Italian, Greek, and of course Wuzyburian- the names I put together as a Namesmith *wink* So, when you find it hard to pick a name for your child, you can always tell me the child’s story and I’ll coin a Wuzyburian name for you 🙂

A name means virtually whatever you label it to mean. Some names however have only one meaning.

The third Wuzyburian name I’ll present here will be special to the Nigerian nation someday. I believe men also have the power to create personalities, God willing.
The name is DEXTEROTTO. Suitable for a Prince.

Dexterotto: Coined from “Dexter” (meaning “Skillful”) and “Otto” (meaning King)… I’d say this is The King of Skills; or better still “The Skillful King”. You can help me define it better!
Short form: Dexter
Nick form: X.T; X.O; O.T
Happy mood: Dex; Oty
Angry mood: DEXTER!!

Native Name (In Nigerian Igbo Language):
Short form: Kene
Nick form: K.K
Happy mood: Kenny; KK
Angry mood: KENECHUKWU!
I have reserved this name for the twin of Kenora brother of Dexterotto; yeah, those boys will come to exist someday. NOT my own sons sha..I fink I want only one boy for myself :-D. The name means “Give thanks to Christ [Jesus]”.

Name Suggestions:
* Female name: MARILYN: I particularly don’t adore the name “Mary”, but its too important in history to be regarded as an “outdated” name. This one will help us keep the name within the generation.
* Male name: MAXWELL (Once again an old name that suddenly turned beautiful, unlike the name Moses).

Movie Lyrics: Stop Those Nuns

During the Christmas holiday I saw an old bag of mine containing very old books. One of them was a story I wrote some years back, I laughed at some of the instructions I wrote for the actors. It was meant to be a “romantic comedy”, I dunno if it fits in now. I jotted down the movie idea back in 2007 (no record of the month), then I almost started writing it on Sunday, the 30th of March 2008 (lol, “almost”). Then I did whatever it is I did on it on the 16th of August 2008 and finally started writing on the 12th of September 2008 and ended the first page on the 23rd of September, 2008 at 11:22am (school is really a big work). The rest of the story was written from 19th March, 2009 to 30th August, 2009.
I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw those dates, it was indeed very slow.. Two years!!

Anyway… I’ll let you read some of the scenes, hopefully you’ll make a meaning out of them.
The title is “Stop Those Nuns”, a tale of Love at second sight and how STANLEY tries everything possible to convince a Nun-wannabe to marry him. Setting of the story is in Nigeria.. 🙂

“To marry is divine. To serve God in holiness is uniquely divine, but to do both is more divine.” – Mother Elizabeth will say this in this movie.

JULIET is sitting in front of her mirror brushing her hair. She’s dressed in a Nun’s gown, talking to SAMMIE over the phone.

Please Sammie, the name is not Julie, it is Juliet. At least if you get to make things formal a little, then you can get me out of your head.
Look mister, I’ve made up my mind. I’m continuing with the convent. I’ll be a reverend sister.
Of course they don’t get married, even if they do I’ll certainly not marry you.

Chief Ernest
I am fed with this liberty you always preach, look what it has cost us. Juliet couldn’t even hook up a MAN! Other girls and daughters of men of my class will jump at that liberty and date all the men they can have.

Mrs Ernest
But it is quite better for us.

Chief Ernest
(Surges up with his palms pointing towards Mrs Ernest’s neck).
What is better?
(Sits down again and takes a deep breath).
She is our only child. Do we owe her? Why then does she want to owe us?

Mrs Ernest
She doesn’t owe us Ernest, she came from the Lord first, remember? Remember how we cried unto the Lord Ernest.
(Chief Ernest mimics Mrs Ernest’s voice as he says the next line with her)

Chief/Mrs Ernest
We can’t deny the Lord.

Ernest brings out a pocket diary and writes briefly into it.

Chief Ernest
See? It is the two thousand, two hundred and twenty second time you’ve said that since you gave birth to Juliet, more like a hundred times every year.
(Leans forward and speaks gently)
Did you plan all these?

Juliet comes into the dining room with her bag and immediately she shuts the door her parents stand up. Chief Ernest is practically hiding behind Mrs Ernest.

Mrs Ernest

Mom, Dad, good morning.
Why are you standing?

Mrs Ernest
Are you not eating with us?

… Juliet enters the bus

Hi Basilia.

I knew you’ll return someday.

I’m here now.

Welcome Julie.

Thanks Jane.

Welcome Julie.

(Gives Maryann a hug).
It’s good to see you.
(Looks at Maryjoy).

The bus begins to move.

There is nothing left to say.
(Raises her shoulders).

Sure Maryjoy
(Sits next to a window).

Is this camp of ours not far? I’m getting bored.

I thought travelling was your hobby?

That’s when I’m travelling to the U.S or Japan or Dubai or…

Jesse, we all know you’ve never taken a bus before.
(Stanley smiles widely and puts his face towards the window as the bus stops to get fuel in a Gas station).

The Nuns’ bus also stops for fuel and parks beside the Nysc bus. Stanley and Juliet’s eyes meet and Stanley pops up immediately with his eyes wide open while Juliet dims her eyes, gazing at him. Maryjoy notices them.

Still looking at boys, Juliet?

Everyone looks at Juliet at once and Maryann holds her forehead and shakes her head.

It is my eyes, Maryjoy.
(Bows her head).

(Pointing his thumb at the Nuns’ bus).
Don’t we know that chic?

It is a bus, for reverend-sister-wannabes. There are no chicks in it, let alone we knowing one.

I think I’ve seen her before.

Stan, they put on veils in order for you not to know them again, why can’t you just fall for it?
(Victoria giggles).

What do you mean Vicky? I’m telling you she’s the man’s daughter.

Of course she should be a man’s daughter

I’m going to track her Jesse, I kind of like the girl.

You are going to track a Nun… Listen to yourself Stanley. No weapon fashioned against them shall proper.

I’m not going after her with a weapon.

Love is a weapon, brother.

Take you there? That’s not possible. They didn’t even let my brother in, remember?
But there was one way he went in

Are you suggesting we sneak in?

Into a covenant?

(Corrects Jesse)

Why not?

I have work, Stanley.

I have pals that will cover for me.

Stan, we can’t just sneak into a convent to meet a girl we’ve never met before. What if she screams?

I wonder o!

Nobody will scream.

How can you be so sure?

Well she won’t scream. Why would she do that?

You are vouching for someone you don’t even know. Does love at first sight come with a degree of idiocy?

But it is a convent, Stanley.

And so?

A convent for reverend sisters!

No, for reverend brothers. What do you take a convent for anyway?

Holy of holies my dear, we shouldn’t joke with it.

Please, a convent, according to Harold Balogi, is a building where you can run in to become a virgin even if you’ve been a whore all your life.

The three look at him with their mouths wide open.

So are you saying we can’t see chief today?

(Walking inside).
I’m not saying it, I’ve said it. Let me get the robes for you.
(Goes in).

I guess something is really pissing your uncle off.

I guess the guy is broke.

(Puts his arm around her)
Let’s just say I have this good feeling for you, so so pure that a sinner like me can’t afford to speak of it.

Blood of the Lamb, save us all.
(Takes Stanley’s arm off)
You can’t just come and scoop a nun.

What kind of a nun uses the word scoop?

Scoop is slang, not blasphemy. Perhaps sinners only understand worldly words.

I’m not sure how to say this Juliet, but…

How did you know my name? You were the one in the bus today right?

Yes I was. Can we sit and talk?

(Calls out to Maryann).

My name is Stanley, not Maryann.

MARYANN! I’m calling my partner, not you. MARYANN!

Juliet ran off again? We should crown her Our Lady the Confused.

Juliet stumbles in laughing. Stanley is amazed.

(To the other girls trailing her).
There are two of them.
(To Stanley and Jesse)
Hi, welcome. I’m Juliet.

Jesse stretches forth his hand as Stanley is remains speechless and motionless.

Of course, Juliet, nice to meet you.
(Shake hands with Juliet as the other girls come in).
(Whispers into Stanley’s ears)
How come we didn’t think of new names?

Hi, welcome home.

Thank you.

I’m Maryann.

I am Jessi–ca
(Looks at a Rosary)
Rosario. Jessica-Rosario.

Nice name. Are you sisters?

Of course.

Your dad must be proud of you two.

Oh no, not that kind of sisters. We have different parents but we are sisters in the Lord.

That’s lovelier to know.
(Introduces the rest of the girls)
This is Basilia. This is Maryjoy, this is Priscilla, and this is Mary. This is also Mary, this is Mary also, this is Mary too, this too is Mary, but we call her Mary-Mary, she has a twin that’s why. This is Anna, this is Theodora, this is Mary-Theresa and this is the last Mary here present. The other girls went on evangelism. Don’t worry; you’ll get to know us all.

(To Stanley)
So what is your name?

Oh, I’m Mary. Mary-Stan.

Did you…
(Touches Stanley’s right cheek with her finger).
… apply makeup?

Crucify me o! I only asked a question. The girl’s face is too brown for my liking.

For your liking?

Please stop flattering me.

But I’m not, I mean, you should be every guys’ dream

(Lies on her stomach too)
You must stop. I don’t seem to be in love with anyone. If not I had many guys after me those days, but, they were all not just meant for me.

And you believe the convent is?

You really sound like Mother Elizabeth in one of her tempting moods.
Are you sure you are ready to be a nun in three days?

Are you?

(Becomes cold as she lies on her back).
Mary-Stan, do you believe in love at first sight?

Yeah, it works most of the time.

It played its magic on me once, not long ago, though I never had the chance to try it out. The guy was cute, bold, I saw him in a bus in a filling station……………
